2012 Winter Sermon Series - First Corinthians |
|
A strategic location, a thriving city, a passionate people, but a compromised church. The church at Corinth had unlimited potential, but was morally asleep. The people were full of rebellion, internal conflict and sexual immorality. The Apostle Paul, who planted the church just five years prior to this letter, brings reproof and rebuke to Christians who have strayed. Mostly, he brings hope and a desire to restore unity to this fractured fellowship. This twenty-week sermon series from the New Testament book of First Corinthians will help us to make sure we aren't sleepwalking in our relationships with God or our church family. Jan 29 Deadline for Winter Youth Retreat 2012 |
 The teens will be traveling to Pocono Plateau Camp in PA for a Winter Retreat February 17-19, 2012 (President's Day Weekend). The cost for the retreat is $60, and includes meals, transportation, lodging, and all activities. Registration and money is due Sunday, January 29th. |

Feb 11 Kickoff for Secret Sisters |
 Ladies, mark your calendars for our “Secret Sisters” program to begin on Saturday, February 11. There will be a time of coffee and refreshments to select your “secret sister” for the year. For Wednesday night, activities will be cancelled if school is cancelled in the Corning Painted Post school district and an announcement will be posted on the website.
